This is rare semi-related political posts, because it involves M.Moore. And the last I'm gonna say on M.Moore specifically. He's not the only person to ever make excuses for an accused rapist, and won't be the last. He's just the latest most famous mouth to do so.

This post of mine may read grungier than my usual tone, but sometimes something about M.Moore makes me feel grungy. This is for anyone concerned with how much I should luv Michael Moore...
Some people don't just kiss M.Moore's ass, they live in there.
I have already said that I don't give a damn about running up in M.Moore's ass. So save it. There are already plenty enough people up there. Everybody relax, he's got a few friends.
Here's the only thing that Rachel ought to do---> what she pleases.
And it pleases me to never forget M.Moore was a hypocritical *sshole, who laughed and casually dismissed sexual assault claims in front of the entire world. And his stunned public stopped kissing his hindquarters long enough to call him on it. And it pleases me to imagine that M.Moore looked down and realized that the legion of followers had stopped fellating him at once. He then knew he had fubar, was actually being held accountable for something that came out of his mouth, and M. Moore went on national news to backpeddle his way out of it.
Of course, once he made his apologetic/corrective statements, confetti is thrown, fellating resumes.
Now I'm not gonna throw up a bunch of links in here, I grow weary of it. But one of the comments from a poster interested me:

I don't who that's directed at, but it's not me. I don't give passes like that.
I get texts or IMs about "agreeing with me" in regards to Moore, but I don't, (no offense meant to anyone, promise) understand why it's a problem to say you *don't* like Michael Moore where other people can hear you.
Are people afraid that's it's going to make them less of a Democrat??? Are you worried you'll have your Liberal Card clawed away from you if you tell Michael Moore to kiss your ass??

I know so many people were upset by his actions and his attitude, and literally just did not know what to do with themselves. You hated it. You wrung your hands and punched holes in walls. Well, just say so. You'll feel better. Nothing catastrophic will happen. The world will keep on turnin'...
And IF your friends actually turn their noses up at you because of it, then I guess they weren't after all.
I tell people all the time that not everyone who hangs with you is your friend. People often have their own reasons and ulterior motives for "making friends". If something as lame as Being A M.Moore Fan is a deal-breaker, then they weren't any friend of yours to begin with.
I'm gonna say this to all you Democrats and all you Republicans and all you Libertarians and you Progressives and you TeaPartiers and you Whatever-You-Ares: There is not some magic checklist. No list of Haves that's going to make it perfect. Including "Who To Follow". Forget about it. Blindly following most of todays politicians and their associates, will be a fail. One way or another. It's highly unlikely that one person is going to have all the answers to the problems. If they flip the script and commit super crazy nonsense, you don't have to keep following and making excuses for them.
It's okay to like someone, but NOT like something they do. The reverse of that is also true. You do know that, right??? It's also okay to admire someone and then change your mind.
If this is not understood, you'll simply be disappointed again and again and again.
There. That's really all I want to say or hear on the subject of M.Moore and his attitude on his friend's rape charges.
