Beautiful Tribute to Alex Mac...

Alexander McQueen was, without question, the most inspiring and influential designer for me. If there were a way to check, I'm positive there is a sector in my brain with his name permanently etched in here somehow.

His suicide was a shock, and it does sadden his fans that he won't be around to create anymore and live his life. There are so many of his designs that I love and will never forget.

Nick Knight and Ruth Hogben did an AMAZING job of this video. Bjork's tribute poem/lyrics and music was the ingredient that brought it all together. My only complaint is that it's too short. It's only 3:27 minutes long. I could have easily watched much more of this.

I love the whole thing, but a few favorite spots:
The end - Black and white shot of the girl in the crown with water
1:40 Caught my breath. Beautiful shot and that girl can walk. I remember the first time I saw a flower gown on the runway, had the same effect. And I'm not even a flower motif person.
2:25 with the wings

And I do want to add, whether you're a Bjork fan or not, what she did here for Alex was beautiful and moving. If you're a fan of Alexander McQueen, please have a look.

Also, maybe I've watched it too much. Someone who is notoriously "sensitive" to certain sounds/music and visuals, shouldn't watch it so much. It digs deeper.
