Hmmm, what's next...

With WriMo behind us, a few of us around here are asking ourselves, "What do we do now?...what the hell do we do NOW?!" and running around, tearing our hairs out.

WriMo, aka, How To Break A Brain In Thirty Days, can take a lot out of a person. Sanity is usually one of the first things to go. But! Others doing the marathon, including myself, actually enjoyed the madness of it all. :) I gave my 'Queen Procrastinator' self a huge time-out for a good cause. :)

But of course, now that it is over, Queen P is wanting out of the corner! But I can't unleash her just yet, there's so much more to do now that I'm on a roll with fewer distractions. I've temporarily let go of some things/people that were preoccupying, and I will allow only so much goofing off, between now and March. Some of that includes:

~ TribalCon, taking in place in Feburary. Technically not at all goofing off, but an intense dance (and music) event, featuring lectures and lots of classes/workshops. It just feels like you're goofing off because it's so FUN. I am once again blessed with Donna Mejia, Ariellah, and Asharah as teachers.

~ There's a John Mayer concert also in Feb. :)

~ Christmas and New Year's. It won't be too terribly distracting, since I'm not one of those people. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, but I don't actually start getting excited about Christmas until approx. 7 or so days before the big day. I dunno. I just don't get enthused until around that exact time! :D And then I'm super excited! I also don't plan or execute gatherings and parties for either, I just attend. :D So I'm definitely a passenger during the holiday season.

~I'll probably see New Moon again at some point. *shrug* I know what you're thinking! Esepcially if you've read my scathing review! :D Where is that thing, I should post it EVERYWHERE... I never want to forget how I feel about these movies...

~ Sherlock Holmes. What else is there to say.
Aside from I am SUCH a freak, because today I grabbed the latest People's magazine with Johhny Depp on the cover as this year's 'Sexiest Man Alive', and I did a quick browsing through to see who People had chosen as some of their Sexies this year (there's lots of vampire boys in there, btw) and flipped opened to a page and it was full page RDJ...and my head blew up. Seriously, I have no control over this blush reaction. It's good to know this pregnancy with triplets isn't destroying any objectivity I may have...

~ going back to CiCi's Pizza with my brothers, just to re-enact the "line jumper" commercial.
(yeah you sorta have to be there)

~ Blogging. Lots of blogging, for no reason other than to blurt out junk so that it doesn't get stuck in my head all day, interfering with my way more important junk. :D

Well, that's it for now! Oh, the Victoria's Secret show is on tonight!! I'm so excited! *fingers crossed* I really, really do hope it's better than last year's. I was pretty disappointed overall with '08. Previous years were SO much better. Especially '07! And I'm not just saying that cause JT was musical guest. :D Even though that WAS one of the best ones they ever had cause of JT. :D

  2. Is it worth watching the VS show? Hrmm...I may have to put it on in the background while I cook and write and whatnot.

Personally, I think blogging helps keep the creative flow up, as long as you make time each day for Serious Writing. ;)

Someone left a copy of that issue of People in the lunch room, and now I must steal it. Muahaha. :D

And good on ya for keeping with that creative goddess side of you- I can't wait to see what happens!

I love the VS show! I often get fabric and costume inspiration from that show, and a lot of those models are favs.
But! This year I have to complain about, again. I wasn't impressed.
I'm gonna post about it soon. :D

Word. :D Well for most people I think blogging helps their flow, but for me it's just rambling, for the most part. So I will not be someone who has an agenda or any true purpose with her blog. I'm not a pro-blogger! :D

Thanks! Me too, and YOU too. You know I am totally in for helping you with your shop, whatever I can do. :) Honestly, you know these manufacturers wouldn't know a real pair of boobs or hips if they were smacked in the face with'em! My measurements have always been weird/hard to fit in certain clothing, so you know you are preaching to the choir with me.

And please DO steal that magazine, you can find the triplets' daddy somewhere in the middle there I think. :D It's not even my favorite picture of him or anything, but still obviously a good enough one for me to go nuts. :D
