Countdown to WriMo fail! :)

Oops, sorta forgot about the Bloggy over here, having been busy with catching up on MS, FB, and a few other sites.

It is the last day for NaNoWriMo, and well, I didn't quite make my 50,000, but it was a fun ride. :) During this time, I always wonder why NNWM chose a busy holiday month like November for this. *sigh*

Anyhoo, I fully intend to keep going, hopefully making my 50,000 sometime in December, leaving Jan. through March for revisions and other necessary things. Which is fine, because my previously stated status remains:

Rachel is apparently going on lockdown. Officially declaring the rest of November through March of next year, off-limits and sucker-free.

...to be continued!

  1. Yay! I had WriMo fail, as well. But I have discovered that professional, published authors also set word limits and daily goals for themselves. So this is a good habit for all of us to get into. I'm thinking I'm going to instate a daily word goal of 500 really meaningful, well-thought-out words. More if they flow, but at least 500 per day, every day, with no exceptions. *crossing fingers this works*
Best of luck on yours, and let me know if I can help at all. :D

You're a huge help, already. :) I can't tell you how many times I've felt a good nudge from you!

  3. What is it that they say: "Failure is good for you"?

If so, do you feel like a better writer now....?

    :)

  4. Heehee...well, both of us had good reasons to WriMo Fail, and both of us are going to continue honoring our writery sides on a daily/regular basis from here on out. So we're good. ;D

BethBear, we ARE good. Cause we love it too much and we will always keep it going, one way or another. :)

Hey! Speaking of writing for fun and giggles... Did I tell you that Nikki/Pridette friended me on FB?? She was all, "Hey yeah, I remember ArtemisHi and BlakRose!" when I told her that at least you and I were on FB, together. :) Wow, DTD flashback, good times. LOL
