Heads up Dragon*Con 2010 attendees... Oh, and of course, costumes...

Isn't it great planning ahead when you realize if you go out, then you won't get to do all the fun staying in stuff because tomorrow you will be literally in a bookstore for 24 hours for 24 Hour Comic Day? XD Ha, ha, we're staying in. :D
And then there's the fun of dissecting Criminal Minds, cause you get Psych nerds in a room together and it's a party. No really, it is.

Anyway, costume updates will always occur here, so... Next year is officially Fantasy Art year, where all the poking and prodding at plans will finally come to fruition! This will be costumes based on or inspired by favorite art! :) I'm so excited, I can hardly stand it. The list is very long and was started years ago, but we eventually get around to everything on it.
The starters on the list are Blackeri (that dress was already started two years ago, and is sitting in one of my closets, so she's first), L.A.Williams, Rossbach, Enayla/Linda B., Brom, Justin S. David B, and C. Achilleos.

If I had a link to our old PinUp board where all my pictures were posted, I'd add it. (Beth, do you still have it?). I'll have to scan the ones from my books if I can't find them online, but I'll post them here if I can find them. Achilleos will probably be the first I work on, as I think it will be the easiest. His costumes are very busy, but not a design nightmare or anything. Like certain others. :D But you know what? The man is obsessed with nips, with weird nips. For real. So not even doing that, not even close. Here's one that I like that was on the list, no weird nips:

Back to con drama.
So basically October 1st became known as the Greatest Dragon*Con Hotel Room ClusterFrak Of All Time. The Marriott, the main culprit, claims to have sold out in half an hours time. We currently have a Hilton room, (nooo! Booo. I stated why the Hilton puts me to sleep) but hopefully that will change in the next couple of days, since I was offered a room at the Marriott by a generous friend. :) Yay.
This total F-up was due to many things, most of it the fault of the Marriott and D*C. (I like to blame D*C for stuff anyway, Pat and Dave did stuff that got on my nerves, long ago), but don't just let me tell you about it...no, no let all the pertinent information come to light...
