I didn't write this one down immediately after waking, so I can only remember parts...
I was in Gary's office for some reason (I know, right?!) and he was talking to me about going to Italy. No idea why I was on campus. For some reason, the woman who bought the painting he did of me wanted me to come there for something. (Painting of me Gary did in real life. I can count on four fingers the number of times I actually sat still for someone to paint or photograph me for artwork and I break out in a tiny cold sweat just thinking about it, let's hear it for anxiety. But Gary's a total professional, a professor/department chair and I really liked his work and was totally flattered when he asked me to model for one of the pieces he was doing for the art festival thing--the Biennale? Biennal? something---in Italy and though I was terrified I said sure)
Anyway, back to his office. He's talking to me about this woman who bought the painting and send a ticket to him for me to come to Italy and I'm sitting there playing with his Kruger glove (he has a real, actual, handmade Freddy Kruger/Scissorhands glove on the wall in his office, it's glorious) and not really listening cause I have no plans whatsoever to go to Italy for this when there's a polite knock on the door of his office and in walks Stanley Tucci.
Yep, Stanley Tucci. No idea. I haven't watched anything with him in it in a long while. At first I didn't recognize him because he had hair. But when Gary called him "Stan" and he looked right into my eyes (Stanley Tucci has very distinct eyes, I always thought) I was like 'Oh my God, you're Stanley Tucci" and when I went to shake his extended hand, Stanley Tucci's face changed, (suddenly became very menacing to me, though I don't really know why, he wasn't actually making a specific face, his expression was calm) and locked cold, bony hands around my wrists. I thought he was playing around, but when he didn't let go, I looked to Gary and Gary looked worried.
Lots blur after that, but I was walked out of Gary's office and out the back door of the studio and suddenly it was night (was daylight in the office) and pushed into the backseat of a car with Stanley and Gary on either side. For some reason Gary's daughter (she was maybe six or seven) in the front passenger seat and spun around to say hi to her dad.
Gary looked at Stanley and said, "We'll have to wait a bit, we can't do anything with my daughter here. I was freaking out, asking what was going on, no one would speak to me and Stanley had let go of me but told Gary that he'd made sure that the plane pilot and attendants would "look the other way" if he were to bind my hands.
The car started rolling and I begin trying to calculate how fast we were going because I wanted to try to do something to distract one of them so I could maybe make a play for the door and jump while my hands were still free, but I was running out of time.
I never saw the driver's face, no idea who that was...
I woke up feeling like someone had been trying to prank me, but, just did not know wtf was up with that dream....
